2016 Zinfandel
Robust and spicy, this bold offering has a nose full of dark berry fruit and cloves, with lavender and anise undertones. On the palate it is savory, with notes of leather, dark cherry, and bay leaf.

Food Pairing Notes
Our Zinfandel is a perfect accompaniment for burgers or tomato-based pasta dishes.
Other Notes
Although Zinfandel is often considered to be America’s varietal, having been grown here since the 1820s, the origins can actually be traced to Croatia where the grape is known as Crljenak Kasteljanski. It is also grown in Italy’s Apulia region, where it is known as Primitivo.
Many people know of the varietal because of the semi-sweet blush-colored “White Zinfandel” (which is a rosé made from Zinfandel grapes), but our Zinfandel is a robust, spicy red table wine true to the grape’s origins.
